  The Arise BIPOC Midwife Future of Midwifery Celebration The Arise BIPOC Midwife Pinning Ceremony Founded by Rising Black Midwife Keyawna Scruggs Matthews, Arise BIPOC Midwife is a Pinning Ceremony for BIPOC Student Midwives that spans across all genres of midwifery and across all academic and training programs. Arise BIPOC Midwife seeks to diversify midwifery by improving student retention due to a lack of connection during the learning experience. The ceremony is an affair where future BIPOC midwives commit to their personal journeys while being guided by the altruistic blessings of current BIPOC Midwives.
