The Arise BIPOC Midwife Future of Midwifery Celebration

Arise Black Midwife is so excited to be hosting The Arise BIPOC Midwife Future of Midwifery Celebration at Morgan State University on October 17, 2026, 2- 6 p.m.!

This will be an HBCU-style Homecoming Event for Midwives that will introduce many of the Community Midwives who have served the local area for many years, while we uplift our Rising & Student Midwives during an iconic Pinning Ceremony and celebrate both New & Graduate Midwives in the local area.

The Theme of the event is "Unify to Diversify" as Arise expands her reach to Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC) this Fall.

Whereas every Honoree has identified as BIPOC, their family, loved ones, allies, advocates, mentors, preceptors, and other supporters are welcome to join the celebration regardless of race or ethnicity.

We are also excited to introduce Arise Community!, which is a unique way to contribute to a Midwifery Fund for your Celebrant by making a donation in their honor.
